Ex. Barcelona by Eric.G

[an example post of a provider] My name is Eric.G and I offer you a path to wellness based on my professional experience as a #Sociologist and my life affirming approach to #EmotionalSupport that has been embraced by a diverse community in and across #Barcelona.

1. Mission: Transcend the insignificant to perceive what matters and help others do the same.

Support, perspective, and integration for connecting to yourself, to others, and to our world…

2. Wellness starts with discovering what matters to you. Growth develops as you realize how interdependent your dreams are with everyone else’s. From this new standpoint we begin to share real experience with the people around us. As we come together uniquely we realize we are also the same and that moment is when we become part of the world.

3. Walk your walk. #lifementor #integration #MindBodyEnvironment #MentalHealth

Helping those with #Depression #Loneliness #SocialAnxiety and your other concerns.

I care.

4. About me: My name is #Eric.G. I am passionate about creative writing, communication, the way emotions work, new technologies, and especially walking, no matter where or in what direction–I like to be on the move, meeting new people, learning new things and affecting interpersonal change.

I think about how to improve how technology, society, and emotion work together in our communities—and to improve how we interact with others. I work as a “Walker” to build communities and help communicate how people can get involved in WalkTalkNow. I work as a Walker with people interested in voicing their concerns and ideas. I’m not a psychologist, but I’m a good listener and will do my best to empathize with your situation.

I am the son of a father who dedicated his life to studying race relations in the U.S. South and the son of a mother from Dublin who has helped people with cancer for most of hers. I am humbled by my experiences in life and believe my own happiness involves healthy interactions with the people around me.

I aim to be well with myself and others in a world that often makes us feel separated. I want to connect with people and understand perspectives that help me grow as a person. I want to be comfortable with who I am, who we all are, and who we can become.

5. I will help you to dream big and we will find the way to get there and fulfill your dream.

7. Itineraries

Tour A: Gracia Neighborhood–The international neighborhood of Gracia is filled with plazas and small quiet streets ideal for walk and talk therapy. These cozy spaces have personality and history and are unfrequented. The neighborhood is an alternative space that stimulates mind body environment interaction, Gracia is an excellent place for an engaging session of emotional support.

Tour B: From the natural oasis of Parc del Guinardó, views of the city life stretch below. It’s not about the peak experiences, but every step and emotion that form part of the process.

Tour C: The Grand Ravalian Tour–A neighborhood that has been completely transformed in the last half a century into an up and coming haven for alternative people and culture. What was once long ago a densely packed neighborhood has been smashed up into broad pedestrian walkways and multi-use plazas. It is now a safe thriving cultural neighborhood with dynamic spaces for walking and talking.

Tour D: Barcelona is more than the center; it is made up of interesting and anonymous neighborhoods full of things to discover. Horta is a neighborhood that before Barcelona´s expansion was a village with an agriculture past with gardens, large country houses, where the Barcelonians went for holidays. Now it is a thriving area in Barcelona with a very local feel that has great places to walk and talk in privacy and in engaging surroundings.

Tour E: The Born, a.k.a. La Ribera, is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Barcelona founded in the 13th century, and that has during the last decade become one of the most fashionable districts. Barceloneta is a unique maritime district and beach full of casual bars and restaurants devoted to serving fresh seafood tapas and beautiful paellas. Relaxed, friendly, and inviting…one of the most popular places to live and explore…you will walk in a distinct culture within Barcelona as we find your new path to wellness.

10. Professional Testimonials:

Rachel Juarez

I had the incredible pleasure of not only crossing paths in life with Eric, but of having the opportunity to work with him side by side. Eric was instantly a breath of fresh air to the International Studies Abroad team, and was always bringing new perspectives, ideas, and above all creativity and sensitivity to all the projects, presentations, and even cumbersome tasks teams face each day. Eric was exceptional when interacting with students; his level of empathy, sincerity and positivity allowed for excellent decision making and quick resolutions to sometimes difficult situations. Throughout Eric’s time on our team he only fine tuned his already natural talent for communicating and innovating. Eric is a true team player, and was a key component to making our team a solid and efficient one. I am confident he can bring these qualities to any position or team in which he finds himself.

Christian Memola

Eric has developed the content for our startup including the commercial information, user information and the help section with specific tutorials for each functionality of our service. Eric has adapted to the changing conditions of our start-up and helped us evolve both from the point of view of providing creative content and bringing valuable ideas in the strategic analysis of the business. It has been a pleasure working with Eric, because of his personable way of interacting with others, his ability to work as a team and especially for his capacity to adapt and the professionalism he brings to his work that have allowed him at all times to provide high quality results on everything he has developed in our company.
